Fereidoon Moghadas Nejad holds a Ph.D. degree (1997) from The University of Sydney, Australia, in Civil Engineering.
After earning his Ph.D., he was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Civil Engineering at University of Western Sydney in 1998.
In 1998, he joined Dep. of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology, as an Assistant Professor, and currently is a Distinguished Professor and Head of Transportation Division.
Moghadas Nejad’s research interests include; Pavement Materials Testing, Soil Reinforcement, Pavement Recycling, Pavement & Railway Management Systems, Pavement Rehabilitation and Maintenance, Image Processing, Automation, Fuzzy and Numerical Methods in Pavement and Railway Engineering.
He has been authored or coauthored more than 250-refereed journal and 250 national and international conference papers, five books and several book chapters, and holds 21 Iran and one US patents.
